I have a previous Glyphs version. I didn’t mind using it. It was working well until now. I just installed GIT (I had it before but I also had the disc reset on iMac) and now I can’t even open the Glyphs app. It does not respond at all.
it also can be some installed plugin. I can’t be sure. I installed git, added plugins, restart, and bye-bye glyphs…
Than it is most likely a plugin and not git itself. Hold down the Option and Shift key when you start the app. That disables plugins. If that helps, remove the plugins one by one (and restart each time) to find what plugin is causing the crash.

What exactly happens? Does it directly crash or does it hang and being unresponsive?
Can you check the Console.app > crash reports > Check if there are recent ones from Glyphs. Send me the last few.
And can you describe what happens when you start the app in more detail? And what version of Glyphs do you have (the four digit number)?

My current app is in 2.6.7 version. When I try to open it, the icon jumps once up and that’s all. When I try to open the font file nothing is happening.
I already tried glyphs 3 with a trial period so I can’t open it but when I open 3 version I can go as far to see a screen with a “drag license here” window.
Can you they the version I linked to above? There was a change in the way the python runtime is loaded and that might cause problem. Those are fixed in the latest version.
Can you post a bit more of the reports. Like or or two more pages?
And why do you have MacOS 12.1? You should keep it up to date.

The problem is with a plugin. Please remove all of them form the Plugin folder.

It looks like Glyphs is not properly installed. Can you download it again from the link that Georg has posted above and move the downloaded Glyphs into the Applications folder before running it?
Can you post the crash report after you removed the plugins?
