# Glyph 4. Can there be errors with the smart filter and text when updating from 3 to 4?

I’m eligible for the free update for Glyphs 4 (maybe), and I thought it would be a good idea to update early if the free update period is fixed or may end soon.

So I’m wondering if there are any errors after the update, and whether there would be any problem if I transfer the fonts I used in Glyphs 3 to Glyphs 4.

You can keep using Glyphs 3 alongside Glyphs 4.
