Glyph Mini Export corrupts vertical metrics

Hi,

When exporting an .otf with Glyphs Mini 1.5.3 (41) the vertical metrics are corrupted so that the cursor is not displayed properly when using the font: The ascender-height looks much to large.

Steps to reproduce:

  1. With glyph mini open “comic sans.ttf”
  2. Adjust font-name in Info
  3. Export
  4. Open and install the new Font with Font Book
  5. Select the font and start typing: The the vertical spacing is corrupted:

This is reproducible for all fonts and basically prevents me from using the otherwise excellent app for its intended purpose. Any chance for a fix or work-around?

BR,
tom

What is set as vertical metrics in Font Info?
In what app do you test?

TTF is an export format, not a saving format, and not all values can be reverse engineered when you open a compiled font. So you have to take care of all the settings before you export. Read this:

It is for Glyphs pro, but most of the things apply to mini too.
