Glyphs 2 won't open on Big Sur

For the past couple of weeks I have had limited success loading Glyphs 2 on my mac book pro with OS 11.6.4 Big Sur. For the last 2 days it won’t load at all. I tried some of the listed fixes with no luck. Please advise ASAP!
My mac wants me to update to Monterey but I am unsure if this will work either. My preference is not to upgrade to glyphs 3 at this point.

I don’t know of any reason why it should not work in Big Sur.
Can you re-download it from our website?

Perhaps right click the app and choose open from the context menu. That will trigger the security dialog.

Also: Disable any antivirus and system optimization or cleaner tools you may be running.
