Getting regular crashes in latest version. I’ve deactivated plugins. Don’t have to be doing anything just leave the application with an open file, given enough time (about 2-5mins) the application crashes. Working on the file doesn’t seem to speed up that crash… however there is no warning so doing very regular saves at the mo!
Maybe related to this or not, but I’ve noticed that whenever I open a file the ‘Features’ need to be updated. Regardless of whether I updated and saved before I closed the file. Tested with a number of files and seems to be consistent behaviour.
The crash reports should have my forum email attached to them.
Also when you try to use the dropdown from that UI element to update Features, it doesn’t seem to update, at least there is no change in Features status.
Just a data point in case it’s relevant – The latest release 4.0 / 3876, hasn’t stopped the crashes I’m getting. The interval between opening the Application and the crash might have shortened, though that may just be subjective, difficult to tell.
The latest release (3877) seems to have fixed the crashing issue. Worked all afternoon uninterrupted. Left my Mac running with it open overnight accidentally and was still open this morning.
