Glyphs App taking up a significant amount of CPU

When drawing a simple shape in Glyphs, the app takes up close to 80% of my CPU capacity and the fans on my 2015 macbook pro are spinning loudly. I’m not using any imported background images or anything; just drawing a simple vector shape in Glyphs will make the computer struggle. Is there any known fix for this?

Glyphs App is fully up to date.

Thank you!

which Glyphs version

I have that same MacBook Pro and the CPU is sleeping most of the time. There is something wrong with your setup. Do you use any plugins? Maybe start Glyphs without plugins by holding down the Option and Shift key when you start the app.
And what version of MacOS and Glyphs do you use?

Version 2.6.4 (1286)

I use a few plugins from Mekkablue and HTLetterSpacer, but not much more than that.

Glyphs: Version 2.6.4 (1286)
MacOS: Mojave 10.14.6

Now attempting to start up without any plugins running and will report back ASAP.

Ok, after some testing it seems it’s indeed a plugin-problem. Glyphs is running much better when I open it w/o plugins. Guess it’s a question of uninstalling my plugins, then re-install them one by one until I know which one’s the culprit?

Yes. If you find the problematic plugin, we can have a look at it.
