Glyphs can't see unitcodechecker

I’ve just downloaded unitcodechecker. It has no install utility of its own, but seems to run fine from the apps folder. However, Glyphs can’t see it as installed, and brings up the dialog with the link to download it.

Any ideas anyone can suggest will be gratefully received.

Did you try restarting Glyphs, or restarting your Mac, even?

You did not rename the application, right? And I assume you put it into the system-wide applications folder, not the one inside your home folder.

Did you copy the app to the app folder?

Georg,

I think I’ve got it copied to the correct place (app properties below)?

Screenshot-Properties

mekkablue, have tried restarting both Glyphs and the Mac…just tried again, but same result.

I cannot reproduce this. Is there anything happening in the Console when you try to invoke UnicodeChecker from within Glyphs?

Which Mac OS X and Glyphs version are you using?

Mekkablue,

Tanks for looking at this-much appreciated.

OS X version is 10.8.3 (12D78)

Glyphs is 1.3.15 (413), from App Store purchase.

Output to Console when trying to Access unicodechecker is below:

There seems to be a problem with the sandbox. I solved that in the upcoming update.

Thanks for that Georg…

By the way, I’m finding Glyphs a greta pleasure to work with, thanks for all your efforts.

did you try the update? Does it work now?

Georg,

Update just done and now working correctly. Thanks for your support!
