I fixed this.
Yay! Thank you both very much, that was quick
I’ve tried to reinstall both Glyphs and my license file, as well as started it without plugins, but still no otf…
Please try installing it in a different user (create a new one in System Preferences). Make sure you have the latest version of the app.
I am having the same issue. I changed the name of a glyph from “aleflamed-hb” to “glyph.002” because I didn’t want it to automatically use the ligature. and now I am getting this error message when I export:
makeotfGlyphs [ERROR] Glyph “aleflamed-hb” not in font. [features.fea 69]
makeotfGlyphs [FATAL] aborting because of errors
Any tips? I don’t totally get what this means that it isn’t in the font, given that I changed the name in order to change its function…
Thanks!
@racheljackson You changed the glyph name, but somewhere in your features it still is “aleflamed-hb”. It needs to be changed there too.
Renaming the glyph to avoid ligatures is not a good idea. You should simply remove that glyph from the ligature feature (as you need to do anyway when you changed the name).
