Hi there.
I have created my first font and i made a regular and a bold version, so now i exported as a variable font.
When i use it and test it in glyphs app, the font seems working great.
But, when i install it and use it on illustrator, the characters are totally random: for example, when i type “x” it doesn’t write “x” but instead it writes the letter “l”, “z” for “a”, “!” instead of “(”, and so on. It does this only with lowercase and punctuation.
Again, when i type words and letters on glyhps app the set is matching perfectly.
The two masters are fully compatible, i checked three times each letter.
Does somebody know how is this problem called and how can i fix it? thank you!
