When I press “edit background” or “command+B” the entire program crashes/shuts down. Is there a reason for this or is it just my computer acting out?
Cannot reproduce on macOS 10.14 with Glyphs 2.6.5 (1290). Which versions are you using?
Can you reproduce the crash with a different file? …in a different user?
And are you sending all crash reports?
I’m using Mac OS 10.15.2 atm, and Glyphs mini 2.1.3 (99).
I downloaded it yesterday and both the license. I have use the test versions before and never had this problem. They worked fine, although that was over a year ago.
Try the latest beta please. Go to Glyphs Mini > Preferences > Updates, activate both checkboxes and press the Update button.
Unfortunately it didn’t help, should I delete the program and download it again? Or is there something else I should try? It’s annoying since I bought the license and the fact that it have been working before with the test versions.
It also crashes in a different user?
Please always send the crash reports so we can trace the error and fix it ASAP.
was this ever fixed? I am having this issue too, also since February.
Glyphs 2.1.3 (99)
OSx 10.15.3 (19D76)
Note: the “edge version” seems to fix this…
Have sent numerous crash reports
Then the Cutting Edge version fixed this, then please use it. The cutting edge version is very stable.
