Hello,
I’ve made some fonts in glyphs mini, and I want to embed them in a word document. Unfortunately, the default setting in mini is to protect my font from embedding, and I don’t think there is a way for me to alter it in mini.
So! Is there some way to change this setting in mini? If not, is it possible for someone be able to convert my font so it can be embedded in word?
Thanks!

So I downloaded the trial of the full version of Glyphs, and I was able to change the fsType to “editable,” and can confirm in my font properties that the font is embedable.
But it still doesn’t seem to be working. Maybe I’m bumping up against a font cache issue?
I wish the full version wasn’t so expensive!
Clearing the caches did the trick. So to answer my own questions:
Yes, you need the full version to edit the FsType permissions. The glyphs mini app will not allow you to create fonts that can be embedded in word.
Hopefully someone else will find this info helpful someday…
But the default value from Glyphs Mini is set to be “Editable” embedding.
