.glyphs > UFO > .glyphs data loss

How come when I do this, smooth/corner points info is all lost and turned into corner points

In my work I am often supplied with .UFO files made in RF and when opened in Glyphs they similarly only have corner points.

Select all glyphs and Tidy up Paths.

The blue/green distinction is just an extra help inside the editor, and IIRC Robofont and Glyphs handle these slightly differently. In any event, PostScript does not differentiate between the two states.

I just tried this and the smooth state was saved and read to/from .ufo correctly. Can you send me a .ufo that shows the problem?

I cna’t hit tidy up paths because it will break the compatibility. I will send an example to you shortly Georg.
