when I open the program, the guides are displayed, but when I move the mouse, they disappear and are no longer displayed.
What version of macOS are you on? Did you recently upgrade your OS?
I updated my iOS yesterday. (macOS Sequoia 15.2)
And what version of Glyphs do you have?
That’s probably the issue, a bug was introduced that has been temporarily fixed in a newer Glyphs version. Maybe activate beta versions through Preferences > Updates > Show Cutting Edge Versions.
Side note: iOS is for iPhones and similar devices, macOS for desktop computers/laptops.
As is apparent from your screenshot, you are on quite an old version of Glyphs (more than two years old). Check for an update.
The latest MacOS changed something that caused the guide to not draw properly (we don’t really know what but we could reliably circumvent the problem). So the latest version (3.3) doesn’t have that problem any more.
Good to know, Thank you a lot for your time.
Hey Georg, I’ve been having the same issue with the latest version of Glyphs Mini. I spoke to someone else the other day who said there should be a fix coming, as Glyphs Mini is currently on a previous version of Glyphs. Thanks!
I just uploaded a bug fix release of Glyphs Mini 2. It should fix this.
Incredible! Thanks so much for this.
