Has Glyphs 4 abandoned China?

The sidebar language option does not include Chinese. What did China do wrong?

In 1989? Or in general?

Do you have it checked in the languages?

Is it that the trial version is not available?

You have Chinese interface for your glyphs app, how come it doesn’t support Chinese script? Maybe scroll down a little and then you will probably find it.

It’s on by default. There must have been an overriding setting.

It’s strange. How can I trigger Chinese? I’m not talking about the interface language.

It’s strange. The interface is in Chinese, but the language doesn’t appear.

It should be at the very top of the list (you might need to scroll up):

I scrolled to the top, and indeed there was none. I suspect it might only trigger Chinese for regional IP addresses? My interface is in Chinese, which is strange.

Some fonts have Chinese language options, while others don’t. Not sure what triggers it.

Best to delete prefs and restart. Also check for custom GlyphData you may have next to the .glyphs file in question or in the Application Support folder. If you have an error in the XML, Chinese may not load.
