In regards to hinting, are there any best practices for setting the metrics of the acender, x-height, and decender in an all caps font?
Secondly, my horizontal bows have various widths, from about 105 to 120. Should I use an average for these or would another way be better?
1: You can leave out the alignment zone for the x-height. Other than that, it’s pretty much the same:

2: Average. I suggest 110 or 115, whatever is closer to the more important stems or the one that appear most often.
