How about automatically switching back to the previous tool after a region-zoom?

I think a faster workflow is important, and I see no reason why after we click-and-drag to determine a region to zoom into, the active tool should not revert automatically to the one used before hitting ‘Z’ from the keyboard. (Of course clicking-to-zoom should not do this, only region-zoom, since most of the time you don’t need to region-zoom two times in a row (am i rite?), and having to click again ‘V’ for the select tool or ‘P’ for the path tool adds an unnecessary step to the workflow).

Is there any shortcoming to this and I don’t see it? Opinions welcome

P.S. Since we’re talking about ‘zoom’, I see that I can’t delete a (selected) node or handle if I’m into zoom mode.

Use Cmd-Space for temporarily switching to the zoom tool.

Aha, good. Thanks
