Is there a way I can copy shapes and paste them across all letters in the same position? I have, lets say, a circle on my letter A and I want the same circle on every letter. Is there a way to do this without having to click into every letter and pasting one by one?
Have a look at “Paste Special”: Managing the Glyph Set — Glyphs Handbook
doesnt seem to work in my case, I hear the ‘error’ sound when I paste special?
Can you describe what you are doing exactly? And what version of Glyphs do you have?
Im on 3.1.2 (3151).
I had copied the shapes I wanted from ‘A’ and went back to Font, selected all my glyphs and attempted to Paste Special, but I get the ‘error’ sound that denotes the operation was not allowed
You could add the circle or other shapes as a component across all letters
could I apply that component across all letters with a few clicks? The issue here is en masse
1.Select the letters you want to apply the component
2. Type hot keys Cmd-Shift-C
3. Choose your circle component
4. Done
