How should I keep plugins up to date? The plugin manager doesn’t do it for me. Am I supposed to use Git?

The plugin manager does do it for you. Upon starting Glyphs, it will notify you if a plugin is out of date.

But how do I get it to update the plugins? It just tells me to update the same plugins every time I start Glyphs.

In Glyphs 2, you need to start the Plugin Manager manually to trigger an update. In Glyphs 3 that is run automatically when you start the app.
