Hey,
does anyone know how to change the setting of the placeholder?
It seems rounded in Glyphs 3 I am using now but Mini shows an angular grey placeholder.
It would be really happy if someone let me how to change it.

Because it makes no sense to me, and I would like to know what you want to achieve so I can help you find a solution.
The grey placeholder glyph is just a reminder in which glyph you are as long as it is empty. It disappears as soon as you draw something. Its purpose is only to prevent users from drawing the wrong shape into the glyph in question.
You can use the Show Character plug-in from Window > Plugin Manager to always display the associated character of the current glyph in any installed font. But I am not sure if that is any good for you because I do not know why the rounded font is a problem for you.
