How to know svg color font is actually svg color font

Hello
I generated Microsoft Color font(CPAL/COLR) and It works well because the font is in color.
Then, I generated svg color font from MS color font in accordance with Option B https://glyphsapp.com/tutorials/creating-an-svg-color-font
File > Font Info > Instances > Color Layers to SVG
Yes, The font generated is in color. but both fonts (Ms-color and Svg) look the same.

My question is how to know the font is SVG or Ms-color font.

If you have both SVG and CPAL/COLR tables in the font, it is both.

You want to find out if a specific app is using SVG or CPAL? You can have different color palettes for the tables. There are parameters for that.

Thank you.

You can control what color table are exported by custom parameters in the instance settings: Export COLR Table and Export SVG Table. Leave the checkbox empty to not export the table.
