How to stop Glyphs from automatically reloading files

I have recently started getting a message that the open file is different to the saved file. It gives me a window with the option to reload or ignore (I don’t remember exactly what it says because now I don’t get it anymore). The box is very persistent, and will come back immediately if I click ignore. It sometimes helps to restart Glyphs. I accidentally clicked reload after checking «do not ask me again». Now Glyphs is automatically undoing whatever I do. Could someone please help me understand how to fix this?

Is it still a problem in the latest version? Can you try the latest cutting edge version? (Activate it in Preferences > Updates)

It says: You’re up-to-date! Glyphs 3.3 is currently the newest version available.

Now I got it again: Warning. The file “filename.glyphs” has been modified by another application. Do you want to reload the version from disk? Reload/Keep this version/Don’t ask me again.

I have not myself modified the file with another application. Is there something happening in Finder that makes Glyphs believe that I have done so?

Try the cutting edge version – tick the “Show cutting edge versions” checkbox and then check for updates. If you have the latest version, it should say this (note that it says “3.3.1”, not “3.3”):

We also keep getting this with 3343. It is super annoying, since we don’t know what to do.

I’m trying to look into this. But right now I can’t get the dialog to show up at all.

Each dialog should give you a file name that was changed. Can you post some of the file names here?

Will do when it happens again
