How to uninstall licence before upgrading the macos

Hello,
I’m planning to upgrade my macos from 10.12.6 to 10.14.

What steps do I need to take to retain my licence.
Do I need to uninstall the licence before upgrading?
Or I just do a fresh install on upgraded macos?

Also, it would be really helpful if someone guide me on how to take backup of important files/settings in Glyphs.

Please help.

In most cases you don’t need to do anything. In the worst case, you need to reapply your license file.

But I would wait a bit with the upgrade to 10.14. Glyphs is fine but there seem to be some issues.

Hello,

Upgraded the macos to 10.14.
Just backed up my important data and ran the upgrade.
Everything seems to be ok as of now.
