Excuse me for my newbie question: how I can turn off the merged guide points marked with red arrows in my screenshot. Is this the result of some plugin or a regular feature? Thank you.
This are TrueType outlines. You can convert them to postscript by clicking Path > Other > convert to postscript (or Cubic) (not at my Mac right now)
