I can't copy my kerning from upper to lowercase

I am having the worst time trying to set this font up… Long story short; I want to be able to layer my font to make it 3d. To avoid any problems people might have using it, I would like to have it be a unicase font. The script ( https://github.com/schriftgestalt/Glyphs-Scripts/blob/master/Make%20Unicase%20Font.py ) isn’t working for me and the further I go down the rabbit-hole I’m afraid I’ll keep messing things up.

Is anyone able to shed some light on why this is happening? I am struggling something fierce…

The script works fine for me. What exactly is not working?

I’m not exactly sure. I keep getting this warning.

I know I am missing something simple here. I’ve been trying for a week or so to get it right, but now I have to ask.

Thanks for the reply.

Even when I have done A=a B=b, etc., my kerning never matches up. I don’t know what else to do. There shouldn’t be any reason for me to have to set up new instances or master, should there be?

it would be easier if you had class kernig. Then you only need to same classes in the upper and lower case. Check the handbook and the tutorials about that.
