Illustrator "Shape Builder Tool" in Glyphs?

Hello friends,

I am now to Glyphs and I wondering if there is a similar tool to the “Shape Builder Tool” in Illustrator here in Glyphs. Maybe a script that has the function. For example, I want to remove the triangle in that attached image elegantly.

Many thanks!

Under Path, select Reverse Contours, then Shift-Cmd-O to do a Remove Overlap.

Many thanks!

What’s the logic of doing this? Isn’t Remove Overlap enough?

Remove Overlap alone won’t work because it is a single path. One of the Developers would have to answer the logic question.

::EDIT::
I got more curious about this shape and found that in some situations when I move some nodes a large amount in relation to the other nodes, Remove Overlap will work but it could also delete the wrong path section. I think your shape should have worked as it was but for some reason it wouldn’t. Maybe this is a bug.

When there is a self inflection, that is smaller than the “inner” segments, those outside paths will be removed automatically.

You can even keep them in the file. They will be remove on export.
