I'm not quite sure what I did, or what happened, but I need some help

I’m new to this software as you can probably tell.

I was adding and editing the Norwegian letter “å”, and not only did it not work, but all the letters I had placed jumped up, became massive, and something’s wrong with the x-height.

The settings in the font info are the same as they were before, and the way they are supposed to be.

Any way to fix it?

The ascender is way too low. It is supposed to be the highest number of the vertical metrics.
