Import Master CP is broken?

It appears that the “Import Master” custom parameters is broken in both versions 3.2 (3195) and 3.1.2 (3151). Although the added master appears in the master selection top bar, it is empty and does not appear in the Layers Palette.

The current font and the imported font only have a weight axis.
The source has a master set to a wght = 20, while the imported bold master has wght = 120.

Thanks for the file.

There are two issues.

  1. the fonts use the same master ID. That is an internal value that used to use a very long, unique number that avoided collisions like this. I need to add some code to avoid this.
  2. The layer panel was not fully aware of the imported masters. I fixed that.
