Incompatibility Check shows "ghost point"

Good afternoon, I have a point showing up in every glyph that seems to invoke the red line segment error. It’s in the foreground in this screenshot.

It occurs even if I draw a rectangle in an empty glyph, /X for instance. There aren’t any floating nodes about…

Also the point/node whatever is at the same place in every glyph, every layers. It can’t be selected.

I have also emptied out layers and put back the shapes one by one.

Do you have a third master, or an intermediate layer?

Can you show a screenshot from of layer panel?

Can you send me the .glyphs file (in a private message or by email to support at this domain)?

Computer just lost power, in a couple of minutes.

Some charging issues.

George, Sebastian looks like a conputer crash! That’s all i need.

I will be in touch tomorrow… sorry about this.

I think that’s a third, empty master.

The Layers panel shows just two masters (and no intermediates) though, which is odd.

Recently deleted perhaps? Close and open the document.

Will do as soon as i have my machine back from repair, sorry… tomorrow likely…

For me, it shows an empty extra layer. Maybe you indeed removed a master or triggered something else that caused this. closing and re-opening the file seems to have “fixed” it.

Yes, when I reopened the file, there was an empty layer. Deleting fixed it. When I deleted layers prior to this epsiode, i had trouble deleting the layers with (-); the (-) icon looked grayed out or didn’t work (fatigue didnt help). 2018 MBP eunning 12.6.

Thanks Rainer George Sebastian
