Indesign can't read Variable font (with 2 axes)

Check this :

InDesign v17.2 and gravecomb

I have updated InDesign to the latest version 17.2 and the fonts that im working on can only be seen when I remove the unicode of “gravecomb” (combining mark grave) or the glyph itself. It took be some time to discover this, I just got the message that the fonts are missing, but can anybody help explain why or what changed in InDesign? And is it a bug or do I need to add something
