Inputting accented glyphs into text view

Hi there —

Is it possible to input accented characters by simple name to text view? I know I can click from the glyph table but I find this cumbersome and I don’t always know the shortcuts to the glyph needed.

For example I want to be able to do something along the lines of

O/Oslash O

Did you try cmd+F in edit view?

Also, holding down the base key (“O” in this case) will bring up a menu of related diacritics.
