Hi
I like to work in my projects keeping them in a single file, even when italic or round styles are not compatible with the regular styles. However, this produces an scenario where I get the red sign of incompatibility in most of my glyphs, but the fonts actually gets produced exactly how I want them to be (for example ‘a’ will show up as incompatible since the upright and the italic have different designs, but the upright weights are compatible and the italic weights are compatible too). Shouldn’t warning signs show up only when the incompatibility problem happens on export? or in case there is a reason I can’t think of now, Would it make sense to have two different warning signs in the font window, one for glyphs that are not compatible and another one for the glyphs that are not compatible in the export?
Add a custom parameter to Font Info > Font: Enforce Compatibility Check. Uncheck the checkbox.
The UI update may take some refreshes. Closing and opening the file should usually be enough.
