Hi, I’m wondering if it’s because I did something wrong on the exporting… Is it normal that the color font seems only work on safari. When check the same page on chrome, the typeface only appears to be plain color…

Different apps support different color formats. Best to export with both SVG and CPAL/COLR, that should give you the widest range.

You can use ChromaCheck and Can I Use… to check what kind of color font formats your browser supports.

“Colr0/1” Color fonts should work perfectly in Chrome. There used to be a bug however (unsure if it’s still there) that when the font-weight wasn’t specified in the browser, the color would not appear. What happens if you throw it in a type-tester such as wakamaifondue?
