Issue with metrics key w/ negative number

Hey team,

There’s a good chance I am forgetting something basic here, but I have searched the forums (and my brain) and haven’t turned anything up. My issue is a simple one:

I want to add an equals sign in front of my LSB/RSB, to provide me with an ‘absolute’ sidebearing, (updatable with Control+Command+M etc), instead of metrics changing on me when paths are changed. This works fine with positive numbers (e.g. LSB: =10), but not with negative numbers (e.g. LSB: =-10).

With the positive numbers, if you make changes to the paths that impact sidebearings, the sidebearing field goes red and you can update it.

With negative numbers, it sort of just gives a default value of 10, and any path changes leave the metric field black, no updatability. I tried a few things like wrapping in brackets or parenthesis, but that caused the field to go green, and still didn’t give me the desired behaviour.

Hope this all makes sense, thanks advance for your advice.

Dave.

I fixed that a few days ago. Will update soon.
