I’ve encountered some challenges with the guides, particularly regarding their visibility. Especially in zero-width characters it tends to become almost invisible. Do you think there’s an issue from my end by any chance?
Are these combining marks? You can set them to positive side bearings (I usually do =40 on each side). Glyphs automatically sets them to zero width upon export.
Yes these are combining marks. True, I could set positive side bearings but there’s a possibility where it could affect other scripts like for eg. Telugu and Kannada as well, as some characters need to be zero-width characters. But, now I see it’s recurring in other spaced characters as well.
The width is set to zero on export. So you are fine if you set the RSB to +30 or so.

Unfortunately the guides aren’t still visible with the other glyphs (non-zero width characters), but I just installed the cutting edge version, 3333, and the guides seems to be working fine.
