Keep gray template glyphs from disappearing

Hi, I made best effort to search in the handbook and here.

  1. Is there a setting to keep the default gray template glyph from disappearing upon placing the first node or toggle it back on?
  2. Is it possible to set a different template font other than the system font SF?

You can use the Show Character plug-in from Window > Plug-in Manager.

The placeholder font is supposed to disappear as soon as there is any content. It is supposed to be helper to identify the glyph as long as it is empty.
