Kerning don’t work well outside glyphs

Is there a reason why these Kerning don’t work well outside glyphs?
I attached some shots from FontGoggles & illustrator.

I have one long way, clean all old kerning, and remake it from scratch, so does anyone have a simple way?

Did you kern in RTL mode?

thank you Rainer, yes

I don’t know why anybody doesn’t care about this issue, it’s very disappointing!

I do care very much about the issue. Just need to deal with something else first.
Can you send me the .glyphs file that I can have a look?

Can you please send the .glyphs file to support (at) (this website without ‘www’ or ‘forum’). We will have a look.

I tried kerning an Arabic font with RTL kerning, and it works everywhere:
:white_check_mark: InDesign, WorldReady Composer
:white_check_mark: Illustrator, Middle Eastern & South Asian Composer
:white_check_mark: FontGoggles
:white_check_mark: TextEdit
:white_check_mark: Safari and Chrome

Can you exclude a font cache problem? Are you using the Adobe Fonts folder?

thank you, i’m really don’t know where the problem, but yesterday i delete all the kerning and remake it from scratch, and he works well now.

@GeorgeSeifert i send you the file in messages

@HadiTypeStudio

You Can rename the font each time you do export and try again
E.g
Handy Naskh v.13
Handy Naskh v.14
Handy Naskh v.15

nothing works, i’m doing what i shall do, some issues need to share with Glyphs developers.

the file at support email now.

Sorry that it took so long. there is a problem with exceptions. We are working on this right now.

@GeorgSeifert ok, should i wait for your feedback?
it’s a client work, not a retail.

You can avoid the problem if you reduce the number of exceptions. And assign classes to all glyphs.
