Kerning Punctuation with Punctuation Best Practice

Hello! I was wondering what the best practice is when it comes to kerning punctuation with other pieces of punctuation. Is this needed? Kerning all the punctuation will create many more kerning pairs (and I therefore imagine a larger file size) and many combinations of punctuation would occur very rarely e.g. hyphen to ellipses. Therefore should I completely avoid this? or only complete kerning between punctuation for glyphs that clash or that occur regularly in writing e.g. question mark to bracket. Any information would be greatly appreciated. !

Kern the ones that most likely to occur. The default sample strings are a good starting point.
