As far as I have experienced, Glyphs does not accept any keyboard commands
· after opening a font
· after renaming a glyph
There may be other cases. Maybe this could be fixed?
Also, what is the best way to cancel a “search filter”? I usually press Cmd+F again, then esc. However, after doing this, the keyboard focus is still in the search field but I’d usually want to do other things with the keyboard.

I think I just fixed this. I wanted to look into it for some time now. Thanks for reminding me.

In the current version (635), this does not work for me. Also, Cmd-F does not work when in list mode.
Looks like the bugs I described above are still there.
Cmd+F does not work:
- after opening a font
- after renaming a glyph
- when in list mode
Any chance this could be fixed?
Thanks!
Hmmm… Next attempt to have this fixed.
As of now, Cmd+F does not work:

This is because the the main view lost the keyboard focus. Click it and the command will work again. I’ll have a look how to fix it.
Any chance this could be fixed?
Thanks.

Also, immediately after opening a font, Cmd+F does not work. Typing a character to select it also does not work.
Can this please, please be fixed.

Hmmm… I realise my initial request was two years ago. So, here is my next attempt:
• When in list mode or
• After renaming a glyph or
• After opening a font,
• Cmd+A to select all glyphs does not work.
• Cmd+F does not work.
• No master button is active (that’s a cosmetic problem, of course).
• Typing a character to select it also does not work.
And it took me two years to figure this our. It is standard macOS behavior to do that and I have hacked it away now.

Looks like Cmd+F still does not work in list mode?
