Is there a keyboard shortcut to select multiple glyphs in the Font window and open each one in a separate tab? Currently selecting multiple glyphs and hitting enter simply renames the selected glyph without opening any. If a shortcut is available please share it.
Cmd-T for opening a tab with the selected glyph(s).
Why do you need separate tabs for multiple glyphs?
Thanks Rainer. Suppose I need to edit multiple glyphs like 1 to 9 simultaneously in separate tabs. Then I’d select each one in the Font window and use Cmd + T or double-click to open them in a new tab. This process requires nine separate steps. Is there a keyboard shortcut to select all nine glyphs (1 to 9) and open them all in separate tabs at once?
The question was why you need one tab per glyph. Why not open them all in one tab?
Managing multiple glyphs in a single tab is difficult especially when many are open simultaneously.
Can you explain why it is difficult?
