Knife tool angle configuration

Hi @forum, my question is very simple.

Is there any way to configure the angle of cut on the knife tool? by example another angles like 30˚, 45˚, 60˚, or with increments like 15˚ . When I press shift and drag the knife tool the default angles only work on 0˚ or 90˚

We are discussing it for a future version.

What exactly are you trying to do? Cut certain corners?

Thanks @mekkablue for the response! I´m trying to cuts the corners and some stems in certain angles. By now I´m using rotated guides and instances. Works for me.

You also might find the Subtract Front Path button (bottom of transformations panel) helpful with a carefully drawn shape including the desired angle.

This is not just knife tool, but also all kinds of drag movement. I really want 45 degrees too.
