good luck Mohamed in your new font, be sure you put “LamAlef” ligature code in rlig feature, try also to check any Font Cache on windows.

any helping this point ?

Did it try it in illustrator on Mac? Or in Indesign?
And does the same text works as expected with a different font?

Yes it work in all mac apps
In window it work on word but only don’t work on adobe apps on windows and i test it in two different computers the same problem

In case that your font works perfectly on Glyphs & on any X app that supports Arabic normally, that’s mean that your font is perfect.

& here few things that might help you:

1- Please complete the full necessary letters, & Arabic Marks.
2- Always update the features + generate the features automatically.
3- Every time rename the exported font file with a new name for testing (Recommended).
4- Make sure you are testing the latest exported font in the right way:

5- Make sure that you are testing the same texts (exactly).

Not sure the Adobe Fonts folder works the same way for Adobe apps on Windows. Never tried.

But Qassim is right. It could very well be a cache problem.

It could also be an OpenType problem. Do you have all necessary positional variants (in this case especially lam_alef-ar.init)? And a setting that could be in the way. Perhaps a stylistic set that is turned on and blocks the positional features. Try making an .ai file on the Mac and open it on Windows.
