"Languages" menu not working

I am trying to add the missing Cyrillic basic characters but the ‘languages’ menu is not suggesting the missing glyphs.
As you can see in the images, there are more than 1 missing glyph but the menu is only citing 1 missing glyph.
I tried with the same file in G2 and it works fine.

I am using 3.0.3 (3081) on mac 10.14

Could it be you already have the glyph with the same Unicode, but a different name? Consider these steps:

  • make sure File > Font Info > Other > Use custom naming is OFF
  • select all glyphs and run Glyph > Update Glyph Info

The caps have double encoding, it used to ba an all cap typeface, I guess that explains why the menu doesn’t suggest the missing lower cases. But how do I clean this up? I used Update Glyph Info and that didn’t do much

If the LC is present, it will remove the second Unicode from the respective UC glyphs. If the LC is not present, it will double encode the UC glyphs.
