Layers not duplicated when duplicating master

This used to work in Glyphs 2, but doesn’t seem to be working currently in Glyphs 3:

Whenever I duplicate a master, the layers (for instance color layers), aren’t duplicated along, and only the fallback glyphs is duplicated. This is quite troublesome when creating variable color fonts. There are multiple workarounds of course, but using the base UI kept it simple, also for my courses.

The drag+option method does work though.

Or do I have to change a setting/preference somewhere?

That works fine for me.
What version do you have? Can you send me the file?

Latest cutting edge. I’ll send the file

3086 here. I have masters with alternate layers for some glyphs when I duplicate the masters alternate layers aren’t duplicating. So it breaks the interpolation.

How do you duplicate the master?

From font info>Masters with the + button by clicking Duplicate selected. Is there any proper way?

When you Option+Drag a master in the list, it works. I never used the menu (:face_with_head_bandage:).

 Thats cool! Thanks!

I fixed the other ways, too.
