Letters not exporting correctly

Hi! Brand new to the app, so please ignore my ignorance on why things aren’t working.

I had designed letter formation clipart letters on an outside platform. I was looking for a website that would help convert the clipart into an alphabet, and came across glyphs.

I have started uploading the letters one by one and then exported it to .woff. When I tried installing the font, the letters are blank,

and they show the standard example letters.

What am I doing wrong? Can I not upload images into the app? And why are they turning blank?

Are you sure that you want to use images? For those, you’ll have to built an SBIX colour font:

Your drawing look like they are describable by vectors, so I would very strongly recommend using vector outlines. Do you have your images in some vector format? What outside application are you using?

Hi Sebastian,

Yes, I had already drawn them freehand on my ipad, but I have been playing around with the app to see how well I can figure it out. Is there an easier way to drawing each dot inside the letter to create a handwriting font?

I read that there is a stitcher plugin that can help create the dots inside my letters, but it’s not working because it requires python, and when I try to download, it says the following error: Failed to get HEAD (unborn)

Any advice would be appreciated. Thank you so much.

Sorry about this, sometimes happens. In this tutorial, you’ll find how installing extensions works and how to troubleshoot when it doesn’t work:
