Letters scale in glyphs despite them being same size relative to each other in my illustrator

as the title says, whenever i import the svgs to glyphs some of the letters such as (a,c…) scale weirdly despite being smaller than the letter b for instance, i also used the same import method for the UPPERCASE and as you can see they appear and work exactly as intended in illustrator

can you check in the macro panel:

print(Glyphs.defaults["GSScalePasteToUPM"])

if it prints True or 1, run this scrips:

Glyphs.defaults["GSScalePasteToUPM"] = None
