Letters to logo substitution

Hey there,
I have a substitution feature question:

A customer wants three specific glyphs to be replaced by one glyph (in .ss01) in his font when typing. In this case, the name of the brand should be typed and then the logo (xx.ss01) automatically appears instead.
Where would you best use this code so that it works across as many platforms as possible, ideally even by default? At the moment it’s in the calt feature, but I’m not sure if it will work everywhere.

Thank you!

Calt is a good candidate. Maybe ccmp or rlig?
But why did you use ss01 as suffix?

Ok thank you.
Because it’s also a stylistic alternate to a default letter.

  1. calt
  2. Make sure to ignore contexts with @AllLetters before and after the glyphs to be replaced. Otherwise you risk an unwanted substitution.
