I’m making a Chinese font, and add some characters use ligature feature. The characters work in Illustrator and Affinity Designer, but not in Apple Pages and TextEdit. Is it OS related or others reasons?
You may need to activate ligatures. And it’s also possible that the layout engine simply does not apply ligatures to CJK.
