# Link metrics with master in Glyphs 4

Im having trouble with Link metrics with master parameter. In G3, the width values of linked master could not be changed, now, in G4 the parameter doesn’t seem to do anything.  
Was there a change to this that Im not aware of?

Also here to report issues. The glyphs width of the linked master does not sync right away. Sometimes I have to restart the app to have it sync.
