I have custom List Filters I use to define character sets for any given font. What I have noticed is that some of them (when selected) display in the Font window as “Predefined Sorting” while others display in correct glyph categories.
Any idea why this happens? I would prefer they all show in correct categories when selected.
I’m not sure what why it behaves differently. Are you sure that both are list filters? Because those use the order from the list, the categories would be quite mangled.
Good info. I will recheck how I created them; that may be the reason.
I just realized it doesn’t matter because I just use those for planning and adding to character sets in my fonts. When actually digitizing I use the Categories groups so everything gets resorted properly. All is good.
