The remove button is missing? only add is present
Press the Option key and the + will turn into a - so you can remove that item.

Wow, that’s not an obvious technique. Why do the other custom parameters have a remove button but not this one?
Because they can have sub-items and it needs a plus button to add those.
Also, Cmd+Backspace works.
P. S. Looks like I’m not the only one who encountered this
